Chennai – Rains to continue till evening
What a start to NEM 2020, when dry air met with moist air from the UAC close to TN, it created that perfect mix of convergence and that blasted with damal dumeels. Now with day time the convergence is still happening throughout the day and we can expect rains to continue till evening with some breaks.

NEM Commenced and the dryline-wetline convergence created heavy rains in Chennai. Down south Ramanathapuram and Tuty got rains.
Cut-off time (6.00 am) except for IMD stations (nungambakkam, meenambakkam, ennore, hindustan university, anna university, sathyabama university). So readings after 6.00 am will come in tomorrow rainfall.
