Amazing rains were observed in entire Kanyakumari district and from today morning the rains have stopped. This spell reduced the shortfall in the SWM quota. Remember Kanyakumari had record May month rains, so this shortfall is not going to a alarming one and Dams in Kanyakumari are having good storage.

Today Valparai and Nilgiris will get heavy rains as the low moves inland the convection gets shifted up.
